DAVID AMIEL
PRESIDENT
As President, David oversees strategic management and business development for the firm and serves as an advisor to the management teams of the firm’s portfolio of companies.
David has served as Chairman of the Jewish General Hospital Foundation and as a member of the Board of Directors of the Jewish Community Foundation, Lower Canada College and the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montreal. He served as President of Federation CJA and as a Board Member of Camp B’nai Brith and Hillel Montreal.
David holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Carleton University.
He lives in Montreal, Quebec, with his wife and three children.
JONATHAN AMIEL
CEO
As CEO, Jonathan is responsible for leading the firm’s investment management and operations teams and serves as portfolio manager for the firm’s public markets investment fund.
Jonathan has served as Chairman of the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation, President of the Solomon Schechter Academy, and a member of the Board of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) and the McGill Faculty of Law Advisory Board. He is a recipient of the DGDM Family Foundation Community Leadership and Volunteer Award of Excellence.
Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor from McGill University and a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He lives in Montreal, Quebec, with his wife and four children.
ROBERTO LONGO, CA
Chief Financial Officer
Roberto is a seasoned executive with financial and management experience in manufacturing, retail, and distribution. Prior to joining Saturnia he was the Chief Financial officer at Maroline Distirbuting Inc, a Saturnia portfolio company. He previously served as Vice President of Finance of Tribal Sportswear General Partnership and Imaflex Inc. (TSX: IFX), where he now sits as an Independent Director. He has lectured at McGill University’s Desautels Faculty of Management Chartered Accountancy Program and is a chartered professional accountant who began his career at KPMG.
Roberto holds a Graduate Diploma in Public Accountancy and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University.
